Meet Monique Hokman

Monique Hokman is a mother, small business owner, and longtime Natomas resident who is devoted to serving her community and ensuring all students achieve their highest potential and receive a world-class education.

As a mother of children who attend and have graduated from Natomas schools, Monique is uniquely aware of the challenges faced by parents and students when it comes to educational equity, social and emotional well-being, and overall school climate and culture. Monique envisions a Natomas with vibrant schools and learning centers that provide challenging and relevant instruction to prepare our scholars for future success.

Monique is a proud volunteer at her church and for many non-profit organizations in the Greater Sacramento region. She holds an associate degree in cosmetology, and as part of her small business, maintains several professional certificates in remediation and environmental testing.

Monique and her husband Damir live near Heritage Park with their 3 children. Together, they enjoy arts and crafts, painting, gardening, and watching classic movies.
